Session 19

Shiva completes the study of the mysterious hard-drive he had received weeks before. He finds out about a conspiracy involving president Kress and the development of a technology able to imprint suggestions into the brain of those that have any cybernetic implants. The conspiracy aims at manipulating the elections in night City, to make the city a part of the New United States of America. The technology is being developed in a fortified Militech compound somewhere out of Night City. Supporting this nefarious plan is the Silver Serpent organization, based on a flying hotel hovering above Night City, the Silver Palace.

The punks look for allies to oppose this plot, and they find them when they gather together the Hand, a group of five VIPs that helped with the foundation of Night City, the dream of Mr Night, supposed to forever remain independent from outside governments. The Hand, together with the Arasaka corporation, agrees to support the party in their crazy plan: infiltrate the Silver Palace, take control of the flying island, and crash it into the Militech base where the mind-controlling technology is being developed.
